Attitude of Gratitude Thursday, November 3

Today I am thankful for........little red gas cans!  You know, the kind that you fill up at the gas station so you can fill up your lawnmower?  Well, tonight it came in very handy......as I was out of gas in my own driveway!!!  I had seen the light come on earlier in the day (much earlier!) but kept putting it off until I was done with the next errand......obviously I waited one errand too long!

Thank goodness there was some in there -- enough to get me to the gas station so I could fill up before our full day tomorrow!

It's at times like that I am thankful that someone, somewhere had the foresight to invent a gas container.  Just as I'm thankful for the person who invented the little plastic ends on shoelaces!  What a genius!

(I guess I should also thank the person who invented the light on my car that indicates my gas is low, too, although apparently I don't pay attention to their invention!)

If you have it in your heart, say a little prayer for me tomorrow night.  I am giving a presentation to a group of women at a women's retreat.  It seemed easy when I said yes, but now the nerves are kicking in!  I'm excited to be talking about faith filled meals and gathering around our tables for dinner!

Hope your week is going well!

May the Holy Spirit fill your heart with the words needed to touch the women you'll be speaking to. They are very blessed to have you speak to them. I know I look forward to checking the blog every morning for something new and uplifting.

    Blessings!

  2. Thanks, Robin! I think it went very well. I had notes and note cards, but didn't really use any of them! I had a full room -- around 50 people, and I think they liked it. Thanks for the kind words.
